Project: Clinker Conveyer
Client: Lafarge North America

As General Contractor, Artisan Contracting pre-assembled a 1400mm Clinker pan conveyor truss system and modified existing bents prior to a plant-scheduled shutdown. During this shutdown, Artisan’s professionals removed the existing pan conveyor truss and drive systems, performed bent modifications and installed the new drive system and conveyor. This challenging project required detailed, critical lift plans to ensure the efficient use and location of a Ringer crane. These critical lifts also required precise measuring of all equipment rigging. Such careful scheduling and extreme safety precautions were major factors that allowed this project to have a successful start-up and completion.
