Project: Anode Stripper Installation
Client: Noranda Aluminum, Inc.

Artisan Contracting served as the general contractor on this project, which consisted of installing an automated anode butt stripping system on foundations previously constructed by Artisan. The unique feature of this project was that the stripper had to be carried, rotated and set with the use of a hydraulic gantry due to the low overhead clearance. The project also involved tying into an overhead conveyor system and a pan conveyor system below, and installing hydraulic piping and dust collection systems.
