Project: Coal Storage Building
Client: Lafarge North America
Artisan was the design/build contractor for the construction of this large coal storage building. This design and installation required a combination of drilled pier and poured-in-place columns that would support the new building and resist lateral loads of the coal and heavy equipment.
The building is a Butler building designed to meet span requirements and all building codes including seismic loads.
