THE CHALLENGE
A mining facility reached out to us with an issue deep underground. The main screen structure was found to be inadequate, and they needed the structure completely replaced – fast. They also needed downtime to be as minimized as possible.
THE SOLUTION
While the screen was running, we did modifications to the foundation and constructed a new screen structure adjacent to the existing structure. During a shutdown we pulled the screen and chutes, demolished the inadequate structure, set the new structure in place and stacked the rest of the equipment on top.
RESULTS
Due to Artisan Contracting rapid response time and previous experience working within mining environments, the plant was able to remain operational for most of the construction and install.
